The Mute Vintners is a joint venture between noted winemaker Kym Teusner and viticulturalist and grower Warwick Murray. The business was formed in December 2007, with the purchase of a 45-acre property called Woodstock, close to Angaston in the Barossa. The Mute Vintners produce wines under the Round Two and Smokin’ Barrels labels.
This is the way of the future for the Barossa, to develop great vineyard sites and create delicious consumer-friendly wines that elegantly express the pure joy of the fruit and let the flavours that have developed in the vineyard do the talking.
